• Lead a team of solar operations and maintenance technicians in the New Jersey sub-region • Supervise, mentor, and train O&M technicians while fostering a strong safety culture • Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power systems • Lead troubleshooting efforts and inspections • Monitor system performance and develop corrective action plans for deficiencies • Communicate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate timely repairs and warranty claims • Dispatch field teams to address service and maintenance needs • Work with the Regional Manager to supervise and direct contractors • Oversee O&M documentation, including work orders, pre-job briefs, and preventative maintenance reports • Ensure field work complies with OEM requirements and warranties • Report to the Regional Manager • Perform other duties as assigned
• Associate's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred • NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification highly preferred • Demonstrated experience in electrical systems operation and maintenance • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Highly proficient in solar data acquisition systems and relevant software • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with Pronto Forms and Drive O&M • OSHA 30 required • NFPA 70E required • FAA Part 107 Drone Certification • Proficient operating drones for aerial thermographic purposes • Ability to operate safely in high voltage environments (600Vac, 1500Vdc) • Able to travel on short notice and work non-traditional hours • Up to 50% travel may be expected • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Able to drive safely, stand for long periods, walk up to three miles daily, and navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps • Visual acuity for depth perception, unobstructed field of vision, and ability to distinguish colors • Comfortable working in extreme heat above 100°F and extreme cold below 32°F • Able to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
