📋 Description
• Perform boundary, topographic, construction staking, and control surveys independently • Operate GPS, Total Stations, and data collectors with accuracy and care • Interpret project plans, survey plats, and specifications to guide field activities • Collect and document clear, precise field notes and sketches for each project • Communicate proactively with NexGen project managers on progress and site conditions • Uphold safety standards and quality expectations on every job
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of field surveying experience, including independent or crew leadership roles • Strong proficiency with GPS, Total Stations, and data collection software • Solid understanding of survey principles, legal descriptions, and construction staking • A valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record (fewer than 3 moving violations in 3 years; no DUI or reckless driving in 5 years) • Your own reliable transportation to and from job sites • High school diploma or GED; technical surveying training a plus • The ability to work independently outdoors in Florida’s conditions — self-motivated and dependable • Strong communication skills and a professional, accountable approach to every engagement.
