📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other knowledgeable individuals using technology, electronic tools, and multiple systems simultaneously • Review appropriate records to obtain facts • Resolve all material issues in cases to establish the subject’s background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications • Conduct interviews via virtual teleconference, phone, and in-person meetings, with VTC as the primary method • Complete a one-week intensive virtual, online training program • Potentially travel across the U.S. for temporary duty assignments, typically lasting two weeks • Gain exposure to various investigation contracts • Maintain workflow efficiency and productivity across multiple technology systems • Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively • Maintain relationships with diverse individuals and handle challenging situations professionally • Produce succinct, organized written information appropriate for the intended audience

🎯 Requirements

• Customer credential National Training Standard certification and recent experience conducting background investigations for this customer within the last 3 years • Active Top Secret clearance required • Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience demonstrating progressive responsibility in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and oral and written communication • Strong sense of mission supporting national security initiatives • Impeccable work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude • Ability to navigate and use multiple technology systems simultaneously • Current driver’s license • Reliable personal vehicle • Willingness to travel locally depending on assignment location • Home office within reasonable distance of workload areas • Reliable high-speed Internet • Ability to sit, type, stand, or walk for extended periods • Strong time management and prioritization skills • Exceptional written and oral communication skills • Ability to listen attentively, respond to nonverbal cues, and make clear oral presentations • Ability to maintain relationships with diverse individuals and handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism • Correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; ability to produce succinct, organized written information
