📋 Description

• Manage, investigate, and resolve commercial general liability property damage claims, including evaluating coverage, liability, and damages and settling claims within prescribed authority levels • Recommend ultimate resolution on assigned cases exceeding authority to local claims management • Evaluate insurance coverage using claim reports, insurance policies, investigations, applicable statutes, and case law • Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather claim information • Refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary and advise on the proper course of action • Respond to written and telephone inquiries, including status reports • Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements across applicable jurisdictions • Meet quality assurance standards and performance goals • Manage a high volume of claims with varying complexity while meeting quality and performance goals

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2+ years of claims handling experience including coverage and liability or relevant experience • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills • Strong customer service skills, including listening and empathy • Mac literacy, including Google and Microsoft • Capabilities, skills, and knowledge normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree • Must have, or be able to promptly obtain, a Texas Independent Adjuster License • Experience with Commercial General Liability claims • Ability to work enthusiastically as part of a team in a remote environment • Self-starter, reliability, flexibility toward change, and ability to thrive in ambiguity • Adaptability in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines and aggressive goals
