📋 Description

• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards • Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts • Interact appropriately with customers • Save and tag parts for warranty work or customer requests • Examine assigned vehicles for additional safety or service work • Communicate repair updates and delays to the service advisor/dispatcher • Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders • Supervise assigned apprentice technicians • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor • Keep vehicles clean and report changes in appearance or condition • Maintain and account for dealership-owned tools and manuals • Keep current with manufacturer technical bulletins • Report safety issues to management

🎯 Requirements

• Two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • ASE Certification a plus • Cummins Engine Repair Certification a plus • Basic computer skills • High School Diploma • Valid CDL License a plus • Ability to comply with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know • Ability to operate all tools/equipment in a safe manner
