📋 Description

• Partner with the VP, Human Resources to develop and execute NFPA’s learning and organizational development strategy. • Create an annual learning and organizational development strategy that supports talent development, engagement, and retention. • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in workplace learning. • Conduct organizational needs assessments to identify skill gaps and develop recommendations for learning priorities. • Design and deliver high-impact learning programs that span the employee lifecycle. • Own the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure effective content management and reporting. • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to deliver high-quality learning content. • Reinforce NFPA’s organizational values through programs and leadership practices. • Develop and deliver engaging solutions using instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training. • Facilitate live and virtual workshops, lunch-and-learns, and team development sessions. • Contribute to internal communication and champion a culture of learning by promoting available resources.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Psychology or equivalent • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or organizational effectiveness. • Professional certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, ATD CPLP, or CPTD) is ideal. • Experience providing coaching and mentoring for performance development and career pathing is essential. • Predictive Index certification preferred or equivalent experience with motivation and engagement assessments and practices. • Possess high Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and outstanding collaboration skills. • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. • Highly organized, with flexibility and creativity to be able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. • Demonstrated success designing and facilitating learning programs, particularly with a remote workforce. • Proficient with Learning Management Systems and digital learning tools (Articulate, Rise, LinkedIn Learning, etc.). • Possess deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and behavior change strategies.
