📋 Description

• Perform cleaning, maintenance, food preparation, stocking, and serving duties in a commercial hotel food service area • Wash food service area objects by hand or with cleaning equipment • Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and place them in assigned storage areas • Sweep, mop, and wipe down food service areas and equipment • Remove garbage from assigned areas • Set up or break down tables • Assist cooks or others as needed • Prepare food products safely and efficiently while following standard food-handling procedures • Assist with scheduled large cleaning projects • Maintain products at required levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas • Stock storage areas with products • Perform other duties pertinent to department or unit success

🎯 Requirements

• Some experience demonstrating working knowledge of food preparation and/or working with commercial kitchen equipment • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc. • Food Handler card, Alaska Food Workers card, or ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred • Some prior experience or training demonstrating knowledge of cleaning equipment/processes or suitability for and interest in this type of work preferred
