📋 Description

• Perform manual labor and maintenance tasks needed to maintain, improve, or construct facilities and areas • Perform preventative and ongoing maintenance for structures, commercial or industrial facilities, and associated areas • Clean work areas, tools, and equipment • Assist with repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical or mechanical equipment • Furnish craft personnel with materials, tools, and supplies • Disassemble, transport, assemble, and install equipment or furnishings • Assemble, install, and repair ergo desks • Assist with clearing clogged drains and replacing plumbing fixtures • Remove snow, landscape materials, and other materials • Paint areas or equipment to prevent corrosion • Perform minor repairs or replacements of interior walls, ceilings, and building trim • Move or deliver items and materials to various locations • Transport trash and waste to disposal areas • Transport small equipment and tools between areas • Attend daily safety toolbox meetings and complete job safety evaluations • Notify the supervisor when safety and sanitation standards are not met • Perform other duties assigned for department or unit success • No supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent • Must pass pre-employment contract requirements, which may include drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment, and hearing test • Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients • Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision • Must be able to be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation • Must be able to live in dormitory-style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp • Must speak, understand, read and write English • Must meet and adhere to all company and client safety guidelines and regulations • Local hire only within an hour of Tok, AK • Must be able to travel by plane and/or bus to remote camps • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to knuckle • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist • Ability to lift 30 lbs. from floor to shoulders • Ability to carry 40 lbs. with two hands for at least 30 feet • Ability to perform specified stooping, twisting, squatting, stair-climbing, ladder-climbing, and shoveling tests • Frequently exposed to arctic conditions; moderate to loud noise; occasional fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals
