📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain Akamai's global network infrastructure • Develop and maintain core network configuration templates using Jinja2 • Implement new hardware platforms and network features within the automation framework • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models and functional requirements • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex network issues • Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and analysis • Lead the design, implementation, and automation of global network infrastructure • Drive the evolution of network infrastructure from initial architecture through implementation

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field • Extensive experience in IP network design and implementation of scalable BGP routing architecture • Understanding of data center architecture, including CLOS Fabric • Understanding of overlay technologies such as VxLAN and EVPN • Experience managing and troubleshooting multi-vendor environments including Juniper, Cisco, and Arista • Experience with routing platforms including BIRD, FRR, and Cumulus • Understanding of end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns • Ability to develop and manage network configuration templates using Python, Ansible, and Jinja2 • Ability to work with automation tools effectively and efficiently
