📋 Description

• Define, design, and build end-to-end proof-of-concept features, interactive prototypes, and technical sandboxes for desktop, iOS, Android, and hardware terminals/kiosks • Create technically detailed specifications, wireframes, and schemas, including employee-based permission rulesets, table mapping mockups, and modifier customizations • Author product evaluation criteria ("evals") before feature creation to validate solutions and measure success • Conduct direct user discovery with merchants and sales partners • Convert feedback into working solutions rapidly • Monitor competitor release cadences and point-of-sale innovations • Leverage LLM APIs and AI coding agents for product discovery, code generation, and functional prototyping • Bridge product strategy and execution across North’s payment platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent experience • 8+ years of previous experience as a Product Manager, Product Engineer, Product Analyst, or similar technical product roles • 1-2 years of experience with AI tools • Proven experience working with Agile software development teams • Strong proficiency with Jira and modern product management software • Product Owner Certification (CSPO, etc.) preferred • Payments or fintech industry experience is highly preferred • Strong technical fundamentals with proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and REST/web APIs • Hands-on native or cross-platform iOS and Android mobile development experience • Working familiarity with payment hardware ecosystems, including card readers, POS terminals, and kiosks • High fluency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted coding agents • Deep user empathy combined with a strong bias for action and tangible proof over slides/presentations • Must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship is available
