📋 Description
• Support and maintain fueling infrastructure across multiple retail locations • Diagnose, repair, and maintain fuel dispensers, underground storage tanks (USTs), leak detection systems, and vapor recovery units • Install and upgrade fueling equipment and related technology • Perform preventive maintenance and compliance inspections • Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner • Maintain detailed service, inspection, and compliance records • Support construction projects, tank testing, and permitting activities • Serve as a technical lead and mentor to junior technicians (senior-level) • Act as a subject matter expert for fueling systems and regulatory compliance (senior-level) • Coordinate with vendors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies (senior-level) • Recommend system upgrades and long-term improvements (senior-level)
🎯 Requirements
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience servicing fuel systems • Experience working independently in field-based service environments • High school diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently • Willingness to travel between store locations • Technical certification or vocational training (preferred) • Experience with fuel systems in retail, convenience store, or commercial fueling environments (preferred) • Familiarity with Veeder-Root, Gilbarco, and Wayne systems (preferred) • OSHA and/or HAZMAT certification (preferred) • 5+ years of fuel systems experience for senior-level roles (preferred)
