📋 Description

• Build Hermes Agent, Nous Portal, and other infrastructure powering Nous Research • Develop product surfaces across web, desktop, and mobile • Build backend services and APIs that support real-world usage • Work on the cloud platform and infrastructure behind products and model serving • Develop tooling for developers and researchers • Address the highest-leverage problems for the company each quarter

🎯 Requirements

• A few years building and shipping production software that real people depend on • Depth in at least one area: frontend, backend, infrastructure, systems, or ML tooling • Range to work outside a primary area of depth • Fluency in TypeScript and Python • Comfort using a systems language such as Rust when appropriate • Strong ownership and ability to independently address broken or missing functionality • Heavy use of AI-assisted development in own workflow • Clear communication and low ego • Experience with AI products, LLM applications, agents, or tool-calling workflows (preferred) • Open-source contributions or demonstrable side projects (preferred) • Familiarity with PyTorch, OpenAI-compatible APIs, model routing, or inference (preferred)
