📋 Description

• Own the company's day-to-day operating cadence, including planning, reviews, metrics, and follow-through • Step in for the COO across operations when they are out, carrying decisions and momentum end to end • Serve as connective tissue across departments and ensure cross-functional commitments are delivered • Hold department leaders accountable to commitments, chase clarity, name blockers, and create productive friction for decision-making • Turn half-defined problems into structured plans with clear owners and timelines • Drive leverage through the leadership team and multiply the output of those around you • Build and improve company systems, workflows, and automation using AI as a primary lever • Provide decision-ready analysis and clear options to the COO and executive team • Prioritize what matters when everything is urgent and keep the organization focused on high-impact objectives • Cover the COO's operating seat within weeks of joining and make consequential decisions across a complex, multi-entity business

🎯 Requirements

• Proven senior operator experience as a Director or Senior Director of Operations or Business Operations, Chief of Staff, or Deputy COO, with real decision authority and a track record of owning outcomes • Demonstrated experience scaling something in a fast-moving, growing environment and building structure where little existed • Self-starter who ramps fast, asks sharp questions, finds their own answers, and starts delivering without a training program or hand-holding • Thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable operating on a complex business before it feels fully mapped • Willingness to push people, hold senior leaders accountable, and create friction to get clarity and decisions • Direct, structured, decision-ready communication style; names blockers and cuts the fluff • Systems-minded, with active, working fluency in AI and automation as operating leverage • Strong experience with enough depth for real judgment and enough runway to grow meaningfully into the seat • Genuine curiosity about AI and comfort experimenting with Claude, ChatGPT, and workflow automation platforms • Preferred: Experience scaling operations in a high-growth, multi-entity, or PE-backed environment • Preferred: Healthcare SaaS, RPM, CCM, or regulated-operations exposure • Preferred: Chief of Staff or VP Operations background with real decision authority rather than pure coordination
