📋 Description

• Review OASIS and document recommended changes in the approved system • Review ICD-10 coding and sequencing using documentation in the patient chart • Complete documentation of review results and ensure workflow processes are timely and accurate • Document reasons for changes and recommended reimbursement impact • Consistently meet chart equivalent targets and quality metrics • Perform work on an as-needed basis for home health and hospice agencies

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in medical coding or OASIS review work • HCS-D certification • HCS-O or COS-C certification • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines • High attention to detail with excellent organization skills • Demonstrates learning agility and seeks opportunities for teaching, support, and professional growth • Comfortable with remote work arrangements and virtual collaboration tools • Extended periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication • Legally authorized to work in the United States • No work visa sponsorship provided • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including a drug screen • Quality assurance work experience in a post-acute setting preferred
