📋 Description

• Interns will have the ability to increase to 40 hours/week during the summer. • Work may be fully remote, or we can accommodate those from local colleges and universities who prefer to work in either our Corvallis, OR or Houston, TX office locations. • Candidates will work in close collaboration with NuScale engineers to complete a range of general engineering efforts. • These efforts may include preparation of engineering deliverables to support areas such as: Manufacturing & Procurement Engineering, Systems Engineering, Nuclear Analysis & Thermal-Hydraulics, Refueling & Remote Handling, Civil/Structural Engineering, Radiological Engineering, NSSS System Analysis, NSSS Component Engineering, NSSS Piping & Integration, and Research & Development (R&D).

🎯 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering, or related degree program. • A minimum of two years advanced experience using MS Word, Excel, Adobe PDF. • Ability to understand engineering concepts, principles, theories. • Strong technical writing skills. • Good communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage complex projects with multiple work phases. • Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
