📋 Description

• Build and operate security controls and telemetry for EDA compute, storage, and networking • Engineer security solutions for multi-day, high-value compute jobs without degrading performance • Use network and platform controls to protect infrastructure • Collect and normalize security signals from the fleet into the SIEM • Build detections and dashboards for actionable monitoring • Investigate EDA-specific threats and exposures • Execute containment and remediation with infrastructure and service owners • Automate enforcement and evidence using infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code • Produce compliance evidence as an engineering output • Own the lifecycle of security technologies, including selection, rollout, operation, and replacement • Partner with data center operations, IT storage and networking, network engineering, CSP teams, and central security • Conduct threat modeling and mitigation planning across network, storage, and compute

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on infrastructure or infrastructure-security engineering across on-prem and cloud environments • Strong Linux depth and system-level expertise • Experience operating or securing compute fleets at scale, including provisioning, lifecycle, and long-running jobs • Working networking expertise applied to large compute environments • Programming/scripting fluency in Python, Go, or shell for automation, detection, and tooling • Foundations in access control, authentication, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability lifecycle • Track record of landing changes with partners who do not report to you • Clear written and verbal communication • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience • Security or platform engineering in EDA, HPC, or large research-cluster environments is advantageous • Breadth across IAM, EDR/XDR, CNAPP, CSPM, and zero-trust architectures is advantageous • Experience with kernel- and fabric-level observability and enforcement, including eBPF, in-line and out-of-band inspection, and DPU/SmartNIC offload, is advantageous • Contributions to open-source security or infrastructure tooling are advantageous
