📋 Description

• Lead 10-year sustainability and decarbonization plans for health-system clients • Benchmark facilities through funded and verified energy conservation measures (ECMs) • Reduce energy use, carbon emissions, and operating costs • Own retro-commissioning and energy modeling across central plants, air handling, terminal equipment, and energy management systems • Use Oakwell's custom modeling software • Develop investment-grade ECMs and sustainable MEP standards • Serve as the client- and construction-facing lead through implementation and commissioning • Present findings and recommendations directly to owners • Secure efficiency incentives through utility technical-assistance studies • Shape AI/ML tooling that scales analysis • Mentor engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering • 10–15 years of experience • Professional Engineering license • Deep energy-modeling and retro-commissioning experience • Track record developing ROI-driven ECMs • Availability to travel as needed (~20%) • Healthcare or other mission-critical facility experience preferred • Investment-grade audits preferred • Automation or tool-building preferred • Proficiency in Revit and eQUEST preferred • ASHRAE/IBPSA involvement preferred • Ownership and agency to drive projects forward • Ability to work collaboratively in a team • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and changing priorities while delivering consistently
