📋 Description

• Retrieve patient medical records to support Compliance Medical Auditors • Coordinate hospital EMR access requests for Compliance Medical Auditor staff • Request and maintain EMR access to assigned hospitals • Use Microsoft Office and EHR/EMR platforms including Epic, PowerChart, Meditech, Commure Pro, and HealthShare Universal • Request medical records via RingCentral as needed • Keep the Compliance Manager and assigned auditors informed of medical record retrieval issues • Generate daily Hold Reports in Commure Pro and export requests into HealthShare Universal • Assist with medical records administrative duties, audit preparation, system testing, meeting minutes, and audit schedule support

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum of six months of medical office or healthcare setting experience required • Knowledge of modern office equipment and hospital EMR record retrieval processes • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills • Ability to operate a personal computer and maintain accurate records and files • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines • Preference for Medical Terminology Certification, MRT certification, CBCS Certification, and/or knowledge of Commure Pro
