• Communicate and drive implementation of OCHIN’s Epic installation strategy for the assigned application portfolio • Plan, direct, and coordinate installation analyst teams through subordinate leaders and staff • Provide leadership and guidance on Epic implementation practices, application dependencies, and member readiness • Oversee staff development, performance, succession planning, and workforce capability • Identify and manage portfolio priorities, connect work to outcomes, and track organizational metrics and member outcomes • Provide portfolio leadership for Clinical, Lab, and Ancillary implementations • Coordinate cross-portfolio dependencies with Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Billing, Data Services, interfaces, and third-party systems • Establish expected business results, scope, timelines, resource plans, risks, and deliverables for installation projects • Coordinate implementation plans and deliverables with Quality Assurance, Learning, Maintenance, Data Services, Clinical, Revenue Cycle, and other teams • Oversee application configuration, integration, testing, readiness, deployment, go-live support, and stabilization • Direct standardized processes and continuous improvement initiatives • Monitor quality, productivity, schedule adherence, budget performance, risks, and stabilization outcomes • Serve as an executive escalation point for complex implementation issues • Foster collaboration and engage technical and operational expertise • Share decisions, outcomes, risks, accomplishments, and lessons learned with relevant partners • Advise on change management, workflow transformation, adoption, and readiness strategies • Ensure direct reports establish and track goals, meet regularly with leadership, and accurately record time
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, information systems, health informatics, or a related field is required • Equivalent relevant combination of education and experience may qualify • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in healthcare information technology, Epic operations, implementation, or a related field • Relevant Epic certification in one or more Revenue Cycle applications is preferred • Minimum of five (5) years of management experience or leadership experience within technical teams is highly preferred • Demonstrated success leading complex Epic implementations and multidisciplinary teams through change • Ability to interpret performance measures, identify risks, and make data-informed operational and resource decisions • Strong relational leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and executive-level escalation management skills • Demonstrated knowledge of quality and process improvement principles and strong systems-thinking capabilities • Ability to develop leaders, coach teams, build skills, and create accountability for results • Strong judgment, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment • High Speed Internet Service • Ability to work in a distraction free workplace • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis at the time of application • Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
