📋 Description
• Review and accurately code most professional services • Conform with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer guidelines • Assign ICD-10, CPT, and/or HCPCS codes • Review medical documentation for data integrity • Communicate with providers for clarification or additional documentation
🎯 Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent • 1 year of coding experience • Recognized Certification by AHIMA or AAPC • Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Proficient with Windows-style applications • Knowledge of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and coding principles
