📋 Description

• Prepare planning and design documents for civil engineering projects • Perform process design calculations, prepare cost estimates, and conduct economic analyses • Assist with or develop project scopes, schedules, initiation paperwork, budget reviews, and progress reports • Coordinate projects with Olsson teams and coordinate project design aspects • Direct team members on design tasks • Maintain project records, including correspondence, drawings, and files • Inform project managers of progress and problems • Coordinate with clients and attend client meetings • Assist with marketing and business development, including proposal writing • Serve as project manager on small projects when needed • Independently perform assignments on complex projects • Coordinate professional and technical staff work and potentially supervise student or technical staff

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering • 6 or more years of related Civil Engineering experience • Must be a registered Professional Engineer • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals • Working knowledge of Civil 3D • Strong communication skills • Ability to contribute and work well on a team • Ability to travel for in-office activities, client and site visits as needed
