📋 Description

• Create detailed engineering designs using CAD/BIM software, focusing on data center/building cable routing, equipment layouts, and communication systems • Serve as the design authority on projects and drive high-quality outcomes • Lead smaller projects from inception to completion • Represent Olsson in client meetings • Visit job sites as required • Design data centers and building systems • Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and telecom and security design documents • Coordinate with Olsson teams, professional staff, technical staff, and clients • Work directly with large technology companies and other mission-critical clients

🎯 Requirements

• RCDD Licensure • Strong communication skills • Ability to contribute and work well with a team • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills • 10+ years of CAD/BIM experience • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit • Ability to design and lay out complex engineering drawings • Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, and Revit preferred • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting and Design preferred • Experience in the Data Center industry preferred
