• Lead structural design for varied and complex projects, integrating innovative engineering solutions across multiple materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry). • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering skill development and professional growth. • Perform advanced structural analyses and present findings in clear, comprehensive reports. • Oversee project management, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration. • Stay current with advancements in structural engineering and incorporate cutting-edge practices. • Engage with clients to understand technical needs, provide strategic insights, and support business development by showcasing Olsson’s technical capabilities and expertise.
• Strong communication and leadership skills. • Ability to manage complex projects and mentor engineering teams. • Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis) preferred. • Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience (preferred: 12+ years) with a focus on facilities design and project leadership. • Professional Engineer (PE) license required. • Proficiency in structural design and drafting software; experience with Autodesk Revit preferred. • Experience with Post Tensioned Concrete Design preferred.
