📋 Description

• Provide leadership to clients and the internal DesignGroup team • Provide design direction for healthcare planning, design, and documentation • Lead projects from master plan through design development • Perform facility programming and planning • Assess existing conditions and coordinate with engineers • Research and assess zoning and building codes • Assess service-line volumes and develop functional and space programs • Conduct stakeholder interviews • Develop master plan options, including phasing • Produce written and graphic documentation of master plan concepts • Develop schematic plans based on healthcare-specific design and equipment requirements • Contribute to site design in coordination with Landscape Design • Contribute to exterior building design in coordination with the Designer • Contribute to building interiors in coordination with the Interior Designer • Lead design input meetings with users and stakeholders • Assist with cost estimates and schedules • Assist with maintaining programming, planning, and cost-estimating databases and standards • Partner with planners and designers to apply industry best practices and leading-edge trends • Act as an Account Manager for ongoing customer relations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare programming/planning/design • Demonstrated ability to develop facility programs and designs in compliance with client needs and industry best practice • Experience partnering with Architects and performing healthcare programming/planning/design • Registered Architect highly preferred • ACHA, LEED AP, and EDAC preferred • Comfortable with frequent travel to DesignGroup and client locations in Ohio • Ability to perform healthcare facility programming, planning, and design • Knowledge of zoning and building codes • Ability to assess service-line volumes and translate them into functional and space programs • Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews • Ability to develop master plan options, phasing, schematic plans, and design documentation • Ability to assist with cost estimates, schedules, programming, planning, and cost-estimating databases • Must address employment visa sponsorship requirements
