📋 Description

• Define and evolve the overall system architecture for the OnitX AppBuilder Platform and associated products • Enhance the engine enabling the Products team to build applications for the legal technology market • Lead technical direction for front-end and back-end development • Provide leadership and mentoring to development and QA resources • Establish architecture standards, design principles, and engineering best practices • Lead design reviews and technical governance for major initiatives • Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first design • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy across systems • Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and resolve complex technical challenges • Collaborate with engineering leadership on platform strategy and capacity planning • Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams on deployment and operational excellence • Drive AI integration, automation, and intelligent workflow initiatives • Improve development velocity and system performance

🎯 Requirements

• 12–15+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture • Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar dynamic backend frameworks • Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks • Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture • Deep understanding of relational databases and data modeling; PostgreSQL preferred • Experience with cloud platforms; AWS preferred • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Bachelor of engineering in computer science, software engineering, or another similar equivalent discipline required
