• Administer loss mitigation, remedy enforcement and liquidation tasks for non-performing loans • Review loan reports to identify commercial loans at risk of defaulting • Initiate contact with defaulted loan borrowers and assess situation • Negotiate workouts and structure loan modifications • Review property valuation and collateral inspections • Prepare written business plans and status reports • Direct and monitor third-party vendors for enforcement • Maintain current and accurate status reports on all assigned assets
• Minimum 7 years’ experience managing defaulted commercial business purpose loans • Strong understanding of lender default remedies and enforcement strategies • Strong understanding of loan covenants and covenant compliance • Strong understanding of CRE income property type fundamentals • Strong understanding of commercial real estate loan documentation • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written • Superior negotiation skills • Demonstrated ability to work independently • Demonstrated ability to comply with detailed reporting requirements • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with associates
