📋 Description

• Serve as Legal Hire No. 2 at OpenArt AI • Handle a broad range of legal matters, including licensing agreements across countries and continents, patent preparations, immigration issues, corporate governance, law-school and conference invitations, collaboration deals, U.S. trademark-office actions, AI-powered legal workflows, state and global taxation, enterprise sales contracts, data privacy and information security screenings, and financings • Optionally own customer, vendor, partner, and creator contracts end-to-end, including intake, drafting, negotiation, closing, and filing • Improve contract templates, playbooks, and systems • Focus on an area aligned with the candidate’s expertise, interests, or desired development • Work directly with a small team and use AI tools for drafting, review, research, and triage

🎯 Requirements

• Legal counsel experience; the posting explicitly welcomes candidates with 25 years, 25 months, or 25 weeks of experience • Candidates may be three decades or three hours out of law school • Curiosity and passion for the work • Ability or interest in handling areas including licensing agreements, patent preparation, immigration, corporate governance, collaboration deals, trademark matters, AI-powered legal workflows, taxation, enterprise sales contracts, data privacy, information security, financings, or legal operations • Must provide a current city of residence in the application • Must indicate whether sponsorship is required • LinkedIn URL is mandatory in the application
