• Work 1:1 with students in grades K-6 through a secure online platform • Use a curriculum designed by the team • Conduct sessions of 25 minutes each • Build trusting relationships with struggling readers • Balance explicit instruction with meaningful engagement with text • Participate in ongoing training and support
• Current or expired K–6 teaching certification (must provide a copy) • K-6 classroom teaching experience with a focus on reading • Strong grounding in the Science of Reading: phonics, structured literacy, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension instruction • Availability of at least 3 hours Monday-Thursday during peak hours (10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. ET), minimum 4 days/week • Commitment to at least 10 consistent hours per week • U.S. work authorization, U.S. mailing address, and ability to receive U.S. bank deposits • Reliable computer with camera and microphone, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace
