📋 Description

• Provide clinical care to patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and a narrow suite of mental health conditions • Work alongside clinicians, triage nurses, and administrative care coordinators • Conduct intake and/or follow-up visits depending on role type • Provide compassionate, non-stigmatizing support and advocate for patients • Determine individualized treatment plans and facilitate changes when patients are not improving • Use motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and other behavioral interventions • Conduct behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations for depression, anxiety, insomnia, and related conditions • Track treatment response, clinical symptoms, side effects, adherence, effectiveness, and complications • Prescribe or queue appropriate medications • Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD • Document patient encounters in Ophelia’s EHR in a timely, high-quality manner

🎯 Requirements

• Board Certified NP or PA • Active DEA license (schedule 3N, 4, 5) or willingness to obtain a DEA upon receiving a job offer with Ophelia • Fully licensed to practice in Oklahoma • Previous experience caring for individuals with OUD, or willingness to learn the clinical skills needed to provide MOUD through a telehealth platform • Ability to work full time • Proficiency working in a remote telehealth environment and across multiple tech platforms • Working knowledge of differential diagnosis of common substance use disorders • Basic knowledge of psychopharmacology for opioid use disorder • Working knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial treatments, counseling techniques, or brief behavioral intervention • Ability to provide patient-centered, non-judgmental, non-stigmatizing compassionate care • Ability to work with vulnerable or marginalized populations and a diverse population • Ability to work in a team-based approach model of patient care • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team setting • Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and care team members
