📋 Description

• Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, packaging, competitive position, and lifecycle of the MetaDefender Kiosk hardware line, initially focusing on the Kiosk Desktop series • Own the hardware platform with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, including industrial design, performance, interfaces, thermals, component selection, BOM, cost, reliability, serviceability, and next-generation platforms • Own certification and compliance deliverables, including FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, TAA, and NDAA Section 889 requirements • Track hardware failure rates, returns, problematic components, and customer feedback • Own pricing and licensing models, support tiers, refresh and trade-in motions, margin, and legal terms • Define product data and telemetry strategy for connected, isolated, and air-gapped deployments • Drive integration with My OPSWAT Central Management for enrollment, policies, updates, health, diagnostics, reporting, licensing, role-based access, and APIs • Own the MetaDefender security experience across multiscanning, Deep CDR, AI-powered malware detection, sandboxing, DLP, vulnerability detection, media validation, and policy enforcement • Use AI and agentic tools to research, prototype, analyze product data and logs, and validate ideas • Reduce clicks, training, deployment time, and support cases across product workflows • Equip field and channel teams with positioning, competitive framing, demos, collateral, and launch readiness • Visit customer sites across industrial and operational environments and observe security-boundary workflows • Drive recurring product problems to root-cause resolution with engineering, QA, manufacturing, and support • Own business and market metrics including revenue, pipeline, win rate, installed base, ASP, hardware cost, gross margin, and attach rates

🎯 Requirements

• Seven or more years in product management, including proven ownership of a technically sophisticated product from strategy through delivery, adoption, and growth • Direct experience with products that combine hardware and software, including cost, quality, and manufacturing readiness • Experience taking hardware products through regulatory certification and supply chain provenance requirements, including FCC, CE, UL, RoHS, REACH, and TAA or NDAA Section 889 country-of-origin obligations • Technical depth sufficient to discuss hardware architecture, Windows and Linux, networking, APIs, security, system performance, logs, deployment, and enterprise management • Demonstrated AI-native working style using AI and agentic tools to research, prototype, analyze, test, document, and collaborate with engineering • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including customer, partner, and contract manufacturer sites • Commercial ownership mindset across adoption, revenue, competitive win rate, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction • Professional fluency in English • Nice-to-have: cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, OT and industrial environments • Nice-to-have: security appliances, removable media security, or edge computing • Nice-to-have: hardware product development, manufacturing, supply chain, or failure analysis • Nice-to-have: FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, or IEC 62443 • Nice-to-have: centralized device or fleet management platforms • Nice-to-have: malware prevention, file security, or enterprise security software
