• Design, develop, test, and implement dashboards across the agency • Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and the Dashboard Building and EHR team to translate clinical needs into dashboard and reporting tools • Help design tools, workflows, and training materials for technical teams and dashboard users • Maintain reports on dashboard users, staff trained, and other measurement-based-care implementation metrics • Create visually appealing, user-friendly dashboards communicating KPIs and metrics and supporting data-driven decision-making and clinical-outcome evaluation • Support professional development of other Business Systems Analysts through teaching, training, and advancing dashboard-building skills • Participate in dashboard development processes, including data identification, retrieval, processing, cleaning, and modeling • Customize dashboards for programs and projects across the organization • Maintain and update published dashboards • Respond to and resolve dashboard access and operation issues • Handle confidential and sensitive data securely according to agency policy and protection laws • Collaborate with agency staff and the EHR manager and team to incorporate EHR data • Assist with developing and delivering dashboard-use training • Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard access or program-operation issues promptly • Travel between sites
• Prior experience as a business analyst in the healthcare industry • Experience defining and measuring key performance indicators related to client or population health and healthcare-service effectiveness • Required bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, analytics, or a related field • Master's degree preferred • 1 to 2 years of Business Systems experience required; 2 to 4 years preferred • Experience with SQL databases, query development, and SQL Server Reporting Services • Working knowledge of Business Intelligence applications and reporting technologies • Programming in R and/or Python preferred • Ability to gather data from databases, spreadsheets, and data warehouses and integrate it into dashboards for real-time updates • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI preferred, or similar software such as Tableau • Must pass state-required background and DMV checks • Ability to work independently and flexibly under general supervision • Business experience sufficient to meet the position's demands • Proficiency with a variety of software applications • Ability to use email, compose documents, and save and locate documents electronically • Ability to learn the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system • Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications preferred • Candidates must reside in Oregon
