📋 Description

• Drive the generation of services and technologies business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives in partnership with account and domain teams • Follow Optiv Standardized Sales Operating Processes to achieve consistent success • Understand and maintain knowledge of clients’ security environments, business operations, security needs, and risk appetite • Identify security concerns and correlate them to Optiv’s strategic solutions and holistic cybersecurity programs • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across clients and Optiv’s partner relationships • Qualify leads and partner with internal colleagues on scope, proposal management, and closure • Participate in sales opportunities across Optiv’s entire portfolio • Articulate how Optiv technology and services meet client stakeholders’ specific needs at leadership level • Monitor industry trends, news, and the security landscape to facilitate thought leadership, analysis, and guidance • Collaborate with service delivery to provide domain specialty materials and a consistent, comprehensive approach • Work with multiple client personas to develop security strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals, budgets, and return-on-investment metrics • Maintain advisory relationships with key client stakeholders alongside sales partners • Maintain strong working relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA or applicable work experience • Minimum five (5) years in an information security role, preferably as a consulting advisor, architect, or cybersecurity leader • Highly motivated self-starter who does not require day-to-day management • Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication • Thorough understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls • Strong business and technical acumen and ability to lead technology-focused discussions • Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills with clients, including whiteboard sessions and other presentation mechanisms • Strong attention to detail when reviewing statements of work, quotes, and client deliverables • Broad security-related knowledge and commitment to continuously expanding expertise across portfolio domains • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or C-CISO • Ability to work in-person and remotely with distributed teams in a decentralized environment • Ability to travel within the assigned region or assigned accounts up to 40% • Ability to perform additional duties as directed or needed
