📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted security advisor to clients and translate business objectives, risk tolerance, and cyber security posture into actionable security solutions • Work with field sales organizations to position Optiv’s solutions with clients • Lead security assessments and workshops • Develop presentations, proposals, and value propositions communicating complex technical concepts and solution benefits • Collaborate with field sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities and contribute to sales pursuits and security solution engagements • Build and maintain relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and security teams • Attend industry security events and lead local chapters where possible • Contribute to thought leadership content including blog posts, white papers, threat updates, solution architectures, and conference presentations • Maintain knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, frameworks, and industry best practices • Provide security insights and knowledge sharing to clients and internal teams • Provide feedback to Services and Solution development teams on market trends and client needs • Represent Optiv at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting, architecture, or leadership roles • Proven experience working with enterprise clients, understanding their security challenges, and developing tailored solutions • Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 • Strong technical skills in network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and incident response • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and executive audiences • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
