📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted security advisor to clients and understand their business objectives, risk tolerance, and cybersecurity posture • Translate client needs into actionable security solutions with field sales teams • Lead security assessments and workshops • Develop presentations, proposals, and compelling value propositions for Optiv’s security solutions • Collaborate with field sales teams to identify and qualify client opportunities • Contribute to sales pursuits and the design of security solutions and services engagements • Build and maintain relationships with CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and security teams • Attend industry security events and lead local chapters where possible • Contribute to thought leadership content, including blog posts, white papers, threat updates, solution architectures, and conference presentations • Maintain knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, compliance requirements, frameworks, industry best practices, and emerging technologies • Share knowledge and insights with clients and internal teams • Provide feedback to services and solution development teams on market trends and client needs • Represent Optiv at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential clients

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting, architecture, or leadership roles • Proven experience working with enterprise clients, understanding their security challenges, and developing tailored solutions • Deep understanding of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 • Strong technical skills in network security, cloud security, endpoint security, and incident response • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with technical and executive audiences • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions
