📋 Description

• Manage civil litigation cases from initial evaluation through resolution • Take plaintiff depositions and conduct meaningful discovery • Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents • Develop case strategies and collaborate with experienced attorneys • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings • Prepare cases for trial and contribute to successful litigation outcomes • Communicate with clients and deliver practical, results-driven legal solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Active California State Bar membership required • Civil litigation experience • Experience taking plaintiff depositions required • Experience handling written discovery required • Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and case management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Willingness and ability to travel for court appearances and trials throughout California • Insurance defense, personal injury defense, or general liability experience is a plus • 1+ years of civil litigation experience preferred; qualified candidates with slightly less experience will be considered
