📋 Description

• Lead sophisticated commercial real estate or corporate business transactions • Advise clients on commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters • Structure, draft, and negotiate joint venture agreements, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related transactional documents • Manage complex negotiations, due diligence, and transaction closings • Maintain and grow an established portfolio of client relationships • Serve as a trusted legal and business advisor to investors, entrepreneurs, and companies • Independently manage client matters while collaborating with other legal professionals when appropriate • Expand the practice through existing relationships, referrals, and new business opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• Partner-level experience in commercial real estate or corporate/business transactions • Established portable book of business generating $250,000+ annually • Experience with commercial leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, or asset and stock purchase agreements • Active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction • Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills • Ability to independently manage client relationships and complex transactions • Attorneys admitted in Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia especially encouraged to apply • Candidates from established law firms and solo practices encouraged to apply • Qualified in-house attorneys with portable client relationships welcome • Experience with a portable book of business and background in commercial real estate transactions or corporate/business transactions
