âą Drive performance of key clinical metrics for regional trend management and market performance âą Partner with Medical Economics to identify utilization trends and develop solutions to reduce overall spend âą Build strategic partnerships with health systems, physician groups, and community providers âą Serve as regional clinical partner with Affordability, Utilization Management, Care Management, Claims, and other internal teams âą Guide clinical initiatives with Network Contracting leadership to enhance provider alignment, care quality, and clinical outcomes âą Identify and resolve regional network gaps and access barriers âą Collaborate with regulatory agencies and compliance teams on network adequacy and quality programs âą Translate policy changes into operational strategy protecting member access and organizational performance âą Own regional escalations, including appeals, grievances, and complex case management scenarios âą Report to the VP of Clinical Affairs âą Perform other responsibilities as assigned
âą 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare âą 10+ years of experience in managed care with prior experience leading in a matrix environment âą 7+ years of clinical leadership experience in a role-specific market âą 7+ years of experience managing clinical market trends in health insurance or full risk-bearing clinical provider groups âą 5+ years of clinical practice âą Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, or another considered field âą 5+ years of experience leading teams âą MD or DO with a current unrestricted license to practice medicine required in a state in the region âą Maintain necessary credentials, including active board certification âą Willing and able to obtain additional state licensure with Oscar's support âą Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
