📋 Description

• Design marketing and recruitment materials, including email graphics, brochures, flyers, and promotional pieces for Stone Lab courses and programs • Create educational displays and exhibit materials on fisheries, invasive species, water quality, wetlands, and Great Lakes ecosystems • Update and redesign publications using Ohio State brand standards and ADA accessibility best practices • Develop graphics and visual storytelling elements for social media, websites, digital communications, and outreach campaigns • Create animations and motion graphics about scientific research and environmental topics • Collaborate with communicators, researchers, educators, and fellow creatives to transform complex research into compelling visuals and multimedia content • Assist with layouts and designs for fact sheets, posters, presentations, and outreach materials • Create ebooks from several publications

🎯 Requirements

• Current student status in graphic design is implied by the role title and posting description • Portfolio or 3–5 design samples • Resume • Cover letter • Knowledge or ability to apply Ohio State brand standards and ADA accessibility best practices • Ability to create digital and print designs, animations, and motion graphics • Final candidates must successfully complete a background check • A drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process
