📋 Description

• Responsible for team leadership and serves as secondary support to the Team Manager. • Provides strategic program management for some of the most visible and complex healthcare IT initiatives at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). • Develops long-term relationships with key stakeholders and leads interdisciplinary teams that include participants from patient care, research, and education mission areas. • Functions with full authority for the execution and delivery of strategic program objectives and deliverables, providing recommendations regarding scope, schedule, resources, budget, and risk management. • Mentors PMO project management staff, supporting both project execution and professional growth while making recommendations for employee development. • Serves as a leader of enterprise-level interdisciplinary programs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • A Master’s degree is preferred. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired. • A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including management experience. • Five or more years of project and/or program management experience leading medium- to large-scale projects or managing multiple concurrent projects is strongly preferred. • Prior experience in an IT management role is required, demonstrating the ability to lead teams, manage resources, and successfully deliver technology initiatives that support organizational goals.
