📋 Description

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment • Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments • Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring compliance with NEC, AHJ, and utility requirements • Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment • Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation • Follow all safety procedures including PPE usage, lockout/tagout processes, and fall protection requirements • Respond to emergency service calls and warranty-related repairs as needed • Communicate with homeowners and customers regarding system status and repair recommendations • Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED • 4+ years of electrical experience • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Strong understanding of NEC, AHJ, and utility interconnection requirements • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings • Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds • Ability to climb ladders and work on rooftops • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions • Strong communication and customer service skills • Willingness to travel locally and work overtime as needed • State-required electrical certification or license (Journeyman, Wireman, or equivalent)
