• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of field leadership functional/technical capability development programs for Otsuka field sales leaders • Partner with field sales and matrix team leadership, business unit leaders, sales managers, and HR partners to deliver leadership development training, experiences, and exposure • Design, build, and facilitate field leadership development programs and processes • Consult with commercial business unit leaders to identify functional, technical, leadership, and development needs • Recommend and ensure sponsorship, engagement, and alignment for development initiatives • Address emerging workforce needs and critical leadership behaviors for engaged, successful, inclusive teams • Evolve learning experiences using adult learning principles, systems thinking, and creative problem solving • Assess field leadership gaps and co-create solutions with stakeholders across the organization • Support development of high-potential field candidates and follow-through on individual development plans • Deliver training through multiple modalities • Partner with external vendors and manage budgets and vendor agreements • Partner with HR to align with corporate leadership development programs
• 10+ years of experience in training and development, leadership development, or related transferable experience • Expertise in functional and technical skills required of field leaders, including business acumen, data analysis, market access acumen, strategic business planning, and strategic account management • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree or relevant continued education preferred • Strategic thinking and systems thinking • Problem-solving skills • Excellent project management skills • Strong communication skills • Experience leading teams as a first- and/or second-line manager • Extensive knowledge of sales, market access, and home office functions • Demonstrated performance in leadership development strategy, design, and implementation • Ability to establish a strong presence with executives at all levels • Experience managing and coaching a team in different roles • Extensive experience facilitating leadership capability development programs • Ability to execute multiple projects with detailed coordination and program management • Broad experience within and outside healthcare • Ability to create collaborative, cross-functional solutions • Strong stakeholder management skills • Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities • Commitment to inclusion and diversity
