📋 Description

• Define and own a multi-year, enterprise-wide meetings and engagements strategy • Enhance SOPs, templates, governance models, and planning standards • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on event portfolio optimization and business impact • Oversee commercial meetings, HCP speaker programs, congress events, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and internal events • Oversee end-to-end event planning, including logistics, sourcing, travel, production, and on-site execution • Implement calendars, resource planning, and capacity models • Standardize virtual, hybrid, and in-person event processes • Drive efficiency and scalability across franchise and brand teams • Oversee enterprise HCP speaker program strategy and execution • Ensure compliant speaker contracting, attendee tracking, and transfer-of-value reporting • Maintain audit-ready documentation • Lead vendor sourcing, onboarding, governance, and performance management • Own budget planning, forecasting, and optimization • Partner with Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance on contracts and renewals • Develop vendor and financial performance frameworks and KPIs • Align senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Patient Services, Field Enablement, Finance, and Legal • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-layered team • Set performance goals and build succession planning • Define KPIs for attendee engagement, satisfaction, compliance, and budget performance • Use data and analytics to improve event effectiveness, experience, and quality

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred • 10–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in meetings and events, preferably in pharma/biotech, including enterprise-level scope and strategic accountability • Experience with enterprise-level scope, strategy ownership, and transformation initiatives • Deep knowledge of vendor relations, regulated environments, and compliance frameworks • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders • Enterprise strategy ownership and operational leadership • Vendor governance and contract management expertise • Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities • Financial and investment acumen • Data-driven decision making
