📋 Description
• Serve as the firm's Virginia-licensed attorney of record on select matters involving Virginia law or Virginia-based clients • Provide occasional consultation on Virginia state law, local rules, and procedural questions as they arise • Review filings, correspondence, or documents that require signature or oversight by Virginia-licensed counsel • Maintain good standing with the State Bar of Virginia throughout the engagement • Communicate promptly with the firm on any time-sensitive Virginia-related matters
🎯 Requirements
• Active license to practice law in the State of Virginia, in good standing with the State Bar of Virginia • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school • Minimum of 3–5 years of legal practice experience (preferred but flexible) • Current malpractice insurance coverage (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication skills and reliable responsiveness • Comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative arrangement
