📋 Description

• Manage one large project valued at $200MM+ or a highly complex individual project or multiple construction projects • Lead project planning, design, and execution • Develop and lead proposal teams • Facilitate customer and team meetings; distribute meeting minutes and action registers • Conduct project start-up meetings and track action items • Ensure timely completion of submittal reviews, status reports, closeout documents, and maintenance manuals • Visit project sites regularly • Develop project-specific proposals and execution strategies • Monitor project progress, budgets, costs, purchasing, change orders, and red files • Report financial issues and corrective actions to the Responsible Director, Regional Manager, or Vice President • Oversee development and maintenance of master schedules • Collaborate with Field Operations, A/E Services, and MEP Services on schedule progress and corrective measures • Document and communicate project delays and schedule-extension justifications • Develop and oversee project risk management plans and mitigation actions • Ensure contractual obligations, safety, quality, scheduling, training, and profitability goals are met • Serve as primary customer contact and account manager • Develop relationship management and project communication plans • Lead, mentor, and train project managers and other project staff • Promote Gray's vision, core values, mission, safety, and quality programs • Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction-site teams • Communicate regularly with Project Executives and senior company leadership • Supervise multiple team members and external resources

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of seven consecutive years of total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects • Minimum of five years of experience managing all disciplines of design/build or hard bid projects • Experience with lump sum, GMP, cost plus construction management, and fee-based construction contracting methods • Understanding of legal aspects and implications of contractual language • Proven record of increasing project profitability from initial project profit margins on multiple projects • Knowledge of engineering and design disciplines, including related costs and fees • Knowledge of cost, schedule, construction management, and operations impacts of project changes • Managed at least one project involving process or production equipment procurement or installation, or comparable components, with equipment-related work exceeding $2 million per project • Knowledge of equipment component and system costs and installation procedures for estimates and proposals • Ability to mentor and train project staff • Proven experience developing aggressive project schedules • Proven experience preparing cost estimates for industrial design/build projects • Ability to maintain relationships with owners, coworkers, vendors, suppliers, and community stakeholders • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business, professional, technical, and regulatory publications • Ability to write reports and business correspondence and present information effectively • Ability to understand complex financial information • Basic business mathematical skills • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email • Working knowledge of scheduling and/or estimating applications may be required • Must not require visa sponsorship
