• Develop and execute account-specific strategies to secure optimal access for marketed biosimilars, insulin products, specialty biologics, and branded therapeutics across medical and pharmacy benefits • Lead access planning for pipeline products ahead of launch • Navigate formulary placement, medical policy coverage, buy & bill economics, specialty pharmacy distribution, prior authorization, step therapy, and contract-based preferred positioning • Develop and execute payer strategies for the insulin/diabetes franchise, including Part D Senior Savings Model dynamics, IRA implications, and competitive positioning • Negotiate and execute contracts balancing access breadth with margin protection • Own rebates, discounts, performance-based agreements, and administrative fees for assigned accounts • Develop contracting strategies for pipeline biologics and specialty products • Manage gross-to-net implications and protect pricing integrity, including ASP and WAC/net pricing • Build market access processes, tools, analytics capabilities, contracting infrastructure, and account management frameworks • Partner with leadership to define the long-term market access organizational structure • Identify capability gaps and recommend investments in systems, data, and talent • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on payer/account dynamics, reimbursement policy, and competitive access intelligence • Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, and Trade/Distribution • Provide market access input into pricing decisions, launch sequencing, and portfolio prioritization • Deliver competitive intelligence informing enterprise-level decision-making • Maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers • Represent Meitheal at industry forums and conferences • Advise leadership on the evolving access landscape and commercial strategy implications • Travel across the U.S. for customer meetings, internal gatherings, seminars, and conferences
• Demonstrated, current executive-level relationships with key decision-makers across multiple customer segments • Proven track record of negotiating contracts that resulted in measurable access gains and revenue impact • Direct experience with biologic, biosimilar, insulin and/or branded therapeutic products • Experience operating in emerging or high-growth company environments where building infrastructure is as important as executing against it • Comfort with ambiguity, resourcefulness, and ability to operate without a large support structure • Experience with insulin market access, including Part D formulary dynamics, the $35 cap environment, and competitive positioning (strongly preferred) • Experience launching products into competitive multi-source biologic, biosimilar, and branded therapeutic markets (strongly preferred) • Understanding of medical benefit (Part B / buy & bill) and pharmacy benefit (Part D / PBM-managed) access dynamics (strongly preferred) • Experience with specialty product access, including limited distribution, specialty pharmacy networks, and hub/patient services integration (strongly preferred) • Familiarity with 340B program dynamics and contracting implications (strongly preferred) • Understanding of IRA/Inflation Reduction Act implications for manufacturer contracting obligations (strongly preferred) • Prior experience at a company that scaled its commercial infrastructure (strongly preferred) • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PharmD, or advanced degree preferred • 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology market access or national account management • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, up to 50% of the time, across the U.S. • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams proficiency • Field-based role; remote working is required
