📋 Description

• Provide training and support for converting teams throughout the company • Report directly to the Process Technology Director • Work closely with the Corporate Maintenance and Reliability Team • Support the Process Technology Team • Assist with capital projects to solve operational issues through training, best practices, and fundamental throughput principles • Provide hands-on training, troubleshooting, and guidance for continuous improvement efforts • Support plants in establishing safe working practices and a clean, injury-free work environment • Support new flexo and RDC projects and startups • Participate in capital planning and equipment discussions • Evaluate, develop, and establish PM practices and standards • Review cause/frequency/downtime analytics • Perform DT analysis and RCFA analysis to improve PM processes • Provide feedback to the Production Manager and Area Operations Manager on the converting team • Evaluate productivity, reliability, and capability issues and provide feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Previous supervisory and leadership experience on converting operations • Coaching, training, teambuilding and performance management experience • High School Diploma required • Expert level of knowledge of converting operations • Experience with OEM converting systems and controls (EVOL, Bobst, BW, Sun, etc.) • Experience training others on converting operations and best practices • Knowledge of printing and print troubleshooting • Knowledge of feeding, scoring, folding and squaring systems • Knowledge of the mechanical systems associated with converting machines • Knowledge of quality control systems and OEM machine control systems • Solid analytical, mechanical, and organizational skills • Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance • Solid knowledge of maintenance of corrugated and packaging equipment • Solid knowledge of manufacturing systems including common software • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels from operators to executives • Strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to manage and communicate with a diverse team of people to accomplish complex objectives • Must be willing to travel 75% to PCA locations throughout the US
