• Write, edit, and manage ebooks, whitepapers, blog posts, thought-leadership articles, and other long-form assets from concept through publication. • Write and edit ad, email, social, and other short-form copy for always-on and campaign-specific marketing. • Develop and execute content marketing strategy aligned with business goals, personas, and the buyer’s journey. • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams on audience personas, industry trends, and customer pain points. • Create and manage blogs, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, webinars, videos, and other content. • Translate complex technical topics into clear, engaging content with subject matter experts. • Manage the content calendar and prioritize content requests against business priorities. • Track and report content performance, including engagement, downloads, and lead quality, with recommendations. • Optimize content for SEO, lead generation, and brand consistency. • Align organic and paid content strategy with Performance Marketing and adapt assets for paid channels. • Ensure content follows PagerDuty’s brand voice, style guidelines, and quality standards. • Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and partners. • Support campaigns, product launches, and events with tailored content. • Monitor industry trends, competitor content, and best practices. • Lead a team of agency content creators and report to the Chief Communications Officer.
• 5–8+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or technology. • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. • Experience creating content for technical and business audiences. • Strong understanding of technology topics. • Willingness to experiment with AI while ensuring human oversight of content. • Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and content management systems such as WordPress and HubSpot. • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Creative thinker with a passion for technology and digital transformation. • Familiarity with the PagerDuty platform or broader DevOps/AIOps/Operations Cloud ecosystem is preferred. • Experience with performance or paid marketing teams is preferred. • Portfolio demonstrating long-form thought leadership and conversion-focused copy is preferred. • Comfort operating independently as a contractor is preferred.
• This is not eligible for PagerDuty's employee benefits, equity, or paid-time-off programs. • Contract length, hours, and rate will be scoped with the selected contractor based on project needs. • Flexible work arrangements are listed in PagerDuty’s general package, though eligibility may vary by role, region, and tenure.
