📋 Description

• Maintain complete and accurate general ledger accounts • Reconcile assigned accounts, including monthly, weekly and/or daily reconciliations • Initiate and/or process general ledger and journal entries • Prepare spreadsheets and enter accounting data into the accounting system • Assist with preparation and review of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual filings • Prepare reports for financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, trending, and results analysis • Analyze financial data to identify problem areas and report to management • Research variances and perform quality reviews of overpayments • Assist with special projects, coordination between areas, resource allocation, solution formulation, and development or implementation of job procedures and controls • Support preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for external entities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in a job-related field with 24 semester hours in accounting • Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures • Good communication, organizational, customer service, and analytical skills • Ability to work independently • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion • Microsoft Office • Ability to use data retrieval applications • FISS, HIGLAS, MCS experience preferred
