📋 Description

• Own end-to-end program management for complex, multi-team technical initiatives from scoping and planning through execution, launch, and retrospective • Partner with engineering leads, product managers, and designers to define milestones, map dependencies, and align stakeholders on progress, risks, and decisions • Drive sprint planning, quarterly roadmap planning, and OKR processes • Build and maintain program dashboards, status reports, and roadmap views • Identify and resolve blockers proactively through escalations, decision facilitation, and friction removal • Lead cross-functional working groups and recurring program syncs with clear, documented outcomes • Build scalable engineering processes, tooling, and ceremonies as the organization grows • Collaborate with fire agencies, government entities, and utility companies on program dependencies and joint deliverables • Track team capacity, flag burnout risks, and advocate for sustainable pacing • Drive programs across Software, Embedded, and Hardware teams from discovery through delivery • Provide leadership and cross-functional partners with real-time visibility into delivery health • Serve as connective tissue between engineering squads and maintain a direct line to senior leadership on program status and risk

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or a closely related field at a fast-paced technology company or startup • Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with multiple concurrent workstreams, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholders • Strong technical fluency with system architecture, APIs, platform integrations, and sprint-level planning • Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Linear, or equivalent project management platforms • Exceptional communication skills for technical, executive, and non-technical audiences • Ability to write crisp status reports and decision documents • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to navigate ambiguity, structure unclear problems, and drive decisions with incomplete information • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred • Equivalent practical experience considered • Experience in a hardware/software or IoT company is a strong plus • Familiarity with camera platforms, geospatial data, or real-time data pipelines is a bonus • Prior experience working with government agencies, utilities, or public safety partners is an advantage
