📋 Description

• Provide virtual instruction to K–12 students in Maine • Provide legally compliant specially designed instruction and compensatory education services when indicated • Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans • Target reading and literacy, foundational math, executive functioning, organizational strategies, and functional/adaptive life skills • Create, manage, and monitor student IEPs, including case management • Collaborate with students' IEP teams to coordinate service schedules and tailor instruction • Administer screenings and conduct progress monitoring • Complete formal outcomes assessments to guide instructional decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Active Special Education teaching license/certification • School-based experience providing specially designed instruction • Experience working effectively with diverse student populations • Exceptional collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students • Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms • Strong command of instructional technology • Dedicated, private workspace • Secure, high-speed internet connection • Reliable computer and webcam • Availability during typical school hours, approximately 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday • Flexibility to accommodate student schedules and service needs • For high school services, flexibility to accommodate block or alternating A/B schedules
