📋 Description

• Provide legally compliant, specially designed instruction and compensatory education services when indicated to students with active IEPs • Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans • Target reading and literacy, foundational math, executive functioning and organizational strategies, and functional and adaptive life skills • Create, manage, and monitor student IEP progress, including case management • Collaborate with students' IEP teams to coordinate service schedules and tailor instructional approaches • Administer screenings and conduct progress monitoring • Complete formal outcomes assessments to guide instructional decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Active Michigan Special Education teaching license or certification • School-based experience providing specially designed instruction • Experience working effectively with diverse student populations • Exceptional collaborative communication skills for engaging with IEP teams, teachers, parents, and students • Proficiency in conducting virtual services using meeting platforms • Strong command of instructional technology • Dedicated, private workspace with secure, high-speed internet • Reliable computer and webcam • Required availability Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–8:00 AM and 3:00 PM–4:45 PM • Required availability Saturday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM • Ability to commit to at least 10 hours of availability per week is highly preferred
